A senior friend from my golf club has returned from Taiwan recently. I was amazed by his act of pedaling bicycles stoplessly to circle the whole island of Taiwan just to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our home country Taiwan, Republic of China. It took him 9 days to finish the great challenge under all kinds of weather. Mr. Frank Lee is my senior in Economic department of NTU by 4 years. Obviously his physical strength and mental determination is well above people from his ages down to even the forties. I am proud of him, and I consider him a legend.
So I have greeted him with the following poem:
恭賀李兄寶島行
六旬耆者勝壯丁
鐵馬征戰環全島
璀璨壯行垂丹青
